About CanvasCircle™

A modern art listing platform built for collectors. Always free to buy and sell.

Today, a large portion of art resale happens across Facebook groups and online communities. While these spaces are active and valuable, they're often unstructured. Listings can be inconsistent, incomplete, and difficult to navigate. Important details get lost, and both buyers and sellers spend unnecessary time managing the process.

There's also the constant pressure to stay visible by bumping posts, reposting listings, and competing with ever-changing algorithms just to be seen.

CanvasCircle brings structure to that environment.

It provides a simple, consistent way to create clean, organized listings that include all the information buyers actually need, without unnecessary clutter. Instead of relying on individual posts, listings live in a centralized online catalog. Sellers can direct buyers to their listings through a clean, filterable interface, making it easier for buyers to browse, compare, and engage without the noise of social feeds.

CanvasCircle is a listing platform, transactions stay direct. We don't process payments, handle logistics, or sit in the middle of transactions. Instead, we provide the infrastructure that helps collectors and buyers connect more efficiently, while maintaining the flexibility and independence of social selling.

CanvasCircle is for collectors. Listings are posted by people offering pieces from their own personal collections, not by artists selling their own original work, not by dealers or galleries selling on behalf of others, and not by anyone consigning art for a third party. The seller of record must be the legal owner of the piece they're offering. If you fall into one of those other categories, please use a platform built for that.

CanvasCircle is free to buy and sell, forever. No transaction fees. No listing fees. No membership fees. The collector resell core stays free as a matter of principle, once a platform takes a cut of every sale, it's structurally pushed to surveil its users to capture that revenue, and the seller-vs-platform dynamic that follows is exactly the friction CanvasCircle was built to avoid. Direct seller-to-buyer interactions are the product here, not a workaround.

Why CanvasCircle Exists

Better listings lead to better outcomes.

When listings are clear, complete, and consistent:

CanvasCircle reduces the friction of social selling by replacing scattered posts with a structured, centralized experience.

What Makes CanvasCircle Different

CanvasCircle is designed around how art is actually bought and sold today.

Structured Listings

Every listing follows a clean, consistent format that highlights what matters most.

Centralized Catalog

All listings live in one place, making it easy for buyers to browse and filter.

Built for Social Use

Sellers can easily direct buyers to their listings without relying on constant reposting.

Direct Transactions

Buyers and sellers connect directly, with no fees or intermediaries.

A Better Way to Sell Art Online

CanvasCircle doesn't replace social platforms, it complements them.

By combining structured listings with a centralized catalog, it transforms fragmented, feed-based selling into a more organized, efficient, and professional experience for the collector community.

Sales Post Builder for Sellers

A built-in tool that turns any group of your listings into a ready-to-post Facebook sales post, generating both the structured text and the collage images in one step.

For active sellers, this replaces the tedious workflow of formatting each piece by hand, building collages in another app, and re-typing the same header/footer for every Facebook group they post to. It lives inside your seller dashboard once you're signed in, tap Build Facebook Sales Post from your dashboard to open it.

What it does:

The result: a workflow that used to take 20-30 minutes of formatting per post, open multiple apps, type the same header, manually crop and arrange images, copy fields one piece at a time, collapses into a couple of taps. For sellers active across multiple Facebook groups, the time savings compound every week.

Collections, Your Personal Art Catalog

A private catalog of every piece you own, with the option to share it publicly so other collectors can see what's on your walls.

Collections is a CanvasCircle feature for the part of being a collector that has nothing to do with selling. It's a place to log every piece you own (signed prints, originals, gifts, pieces that have been in the family for decades), keep your own notes on each one, and optionally share the publicly-facing pieces with the community.

What you can do with it:

The bigger picture: Collections turns CanvasCircle from a place you visit only when you want to buy or sell into a place you can come back to as a collector. Share your public Collection link on Facebook or Instagram, your friends and fellow collectors land on a beautifully laid out catalog of what hangs on your walls, with an automatic preview card when shared on iMessage or any chat app.

Install the App for Push Notifications

The most useful reason to install CanvasCircle on your phone is push notifications. Once installed, you'll get a buzz on your lockscreen, just like any native app, for three things you'd otherwise miss:

CanvasCircle is a Progressive Web App, which means there's nothing to download from the App Store, you pin the site to your home screen and it opens like a real installed app: full screen, no browser bars, signed in across visits.

The install takes about ten seconds and works on both iPhone and Android:

Already installed? You're seeing this from your browser, open CanvasCircle from your home screen icon instead, then flip on notifications from your dashboard.
